Slobber & Chops Newsletter #001

| News

It has been a few weeks since we officially introduced you to Slobber & Chops (formerly Bone Idol), and we wanted to take this opportunity to officially welcome you to the pack and update you on all the exciting changes that have been happening.

But to start, I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Sally, and I'm the owner of Slobber & Chops. With an unwavering love for dogs, it is with great enthusiasm that I have taken on this challenge, and I am so excited to welcome you into our slobber-covered world.

I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our wonderful customers for their continued support. Should you have any questions, feel free to give us a call, drop us an email, or swing by the shop for a friendly chat.

Our Shop Has Had A Makeover!

If you've walked past our or visited us at our St. James Street shop, you'll have noticed a few changes. We've had a bit of a makeover with a fresh new coat of paint, and some new signage.

We've also restocked our shelves with lots of new toys and tasty treats, along with a new range of toys dedicated to puppies! There are more exciting changes to come, including a sparkling new salon, so keep your eyes peeled!

Our New Packaging...

In line with the new name, we've updated the labels on our dog food bags, so if you've recently placed an order with us, you'll see that our packaging looks a little different.

Whilst the outside of the bag has changed, we want to reassure all of our existing customers that inside is the same food that your fluffy friend has come to know and love.

Along with our Slobber & Chops Dry Dog Food range, you'll still be able to purchase our Nora Nose Best Cold Pressed range.

Celebrating A Win at Crufts!

On Friday 8th of March, the Slobber & Chops team headed to Birmingham NEC to support Ben, our esteemed Head Groomer & Director of Operations, as he competed with a beloved Gordon Setter, Finlay, against a field of 15 other talented dogs at Crufts 2024.

We were all eagerly anticipating their performance and held our breath as the judge carefully scrutinised each dog in the ring. When her hand pointed towards Ben & Finlay, indicating their triumph, we couldn't contain our joy.

We concluded our day with retail therapy, browsing through grooming tools, apparel, and cosy new dog accessories to stock in the shop. Despite the exhaustion that inevitably followed, every moment of our Crufts experience was immensely enjoyable, leaving us with cherished memories to treasure.

Congratulations to Ben and Finlay on their well-deserved win!

We've welcomed some new team members...

Whilst you'll recommend many of the same faces when you bring your furry companion in for their grooming appointment, we have some new team members to introduce you to!

Cameron and Lucy both joined the team after achieving their Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming & Salon Management.
