Happy to be touched
Happy with other dogs
Relatively free from matting or knots

We are growing our portfolio of dog models and need dogs of all breeds and sizes for our students to practice their skills and gain their qualifications. All students are supervised by our qualified and experienced tutors.

Bone Idol Academy Dog Grooming: What to expect

All the students who attend the Bone Idol Academy will be fully supervised and guided by our professional team so you can be assured that your dog will be well looked after and receive a great 'Bone Idol' hair cut!

Prior to the first groom we conduct a small assessment to ensure all our dog models are happy in the salon and being handled by strangers. After the assessment we will book your dog in for a full groom including bathing, scissoring, clipping, nail trim, ear plucking etc.

Our training days are run with 1 morning appointment. Generally 9:30am until 12.00 or an afternoon appointment 12:30pm until 4:00pm. We we contact owners on our list in advance to check availability and book in for these appointments.

Dog models must be dropped off and collected on time or risk being removed from our portfolio.
